Our Close Protection Officers come from operational backgrounds, register with PSIRA, and train under continuous scenario pressure — so the only thing you ever notice is your day going to plan.
Close Protection at Parasource starts with a confidential intake. We sit with you (or your office) for as long as it takes to understand the picture — who, what, where, when, and why now.
From there we build the team size, the vehicle plan, the residence posture, and the routes. Every assignment has a named operations lead, a written plan, and a rehearsed contingency. Nothing is improvised.
The output is a day that looks ordinary. That is the work.
Start the briefSingle officer or full detail for principals, partners and children — school runs, travel, public appearances, business meetings. Designed to disappear into the day.
Static teams, 24/7 patrols, K9 augmentation, integrated alarms and biometric access — layered to your residence and routine.
Advance work, hotel surveys, route planning, secure ground transport, in-country liaison and on-the-ground officers throughout the African theatre.
Pre-event surveys, K9 sweeps, access control, VIP movement plans, principal speaker protection and discreet plain-clothes overlay.
24/7 operations centre with rapid deployment of additional officers, vehicles and K9 assets when a threat picture shifts.
Pre-movement reconnaissance, surveillance detection routes (SDR), digital footprint assessment and confidential reporting.
Our officers are selected for judgement, not optics. They blend into the room you sent them into.
We respond to enquiries within hours and run a confidential intake — verbal or written — before quoting anything.
A written risk picture, team size, vehicle plan and rehearsed contingency — signed off with a named ops lead.
Officers, vehicles and back-up positioned ahead of you. Reporting to your nominated recipient under NDA.
Every contract closes with an honest debrief: what worked, what didn’t, and what changes for next time.

Close Protection is a planned, intelligence-led operation that combines a trained officer (or team) with route planning, residence security, advance work, and contingency rehearsal. A bodyguard is one part of the picture; Close Protection is the whole picture, and ours is delivered by PSIRA-registered officers under a named operations lead.
Yes — every officer on our books holds current PSIRA registration in the appropriate grade. We hold copies of credentials, run continuous scenario-based requalification, and provide PSIRA reference numbers on request as part of contract due diligence.
Yes. Our operations centre is at OR Tambo, but we routinely deploy in Pretoria, Sandton, Cape Town, Durban and across the African theatre. For international principals, we partner with vetted ground teams in-country and travel with our own advance officers.
Yes — the right answer depends on the threat profile, the venue, and the principal’s preference. Our risk assessment will recommend a posture; many of our assignments are intentionally low-profile and unarmed, supported by armed back-up where the risk picture warrants it.
For existing clients and pre-cleared briefings, we can deploy within hours in greater Johannesburg. For new principals we run a confidential intake first — usually same-day — then deploy under a written plan. Crisis deployments are handled by our 24/7 operations line.
Yes. Our officers do not post, publish or discuss assignments. All reporting is delivered to a named recipient, in writing, under NDA. We never disclose client lists publicly — references are provided privately on request.
Pricing is built around the team size, deployment hours, vehicles, and travel. We give a written estimate after the initial risk briefing — never a price before we’ve understood the assignment.
